Body of 15-year-old Alice Identified in Crans-Montana Fire

The body of 15-year-old Alice Kallergis, who had been missing since the fire in a bar in Crans-Montana on New Year's Eve, has been identified. The news was confirmed by the Swiss authorities through the Greek Embassy in Bern and the Greek Consulate General in Geneva.
Alice, who had dual citizenship (Greek and Swiss), was at the Le Constellation bar with friends to celebrate the New Year. The fire claimed the lives of at least 40 people, mostly young teenagers.
Her brother, Romain Kallergis, had stated to protothema.gr that the family had no information about Alice's fate after the fire. He described the tragic conditions outside the club, where many were minors. He had also published a photo with his sister from Crans-Montana, shortly before the tragedy.
According to the Valais cantonal police, the victims include Swiss, French, Italian, Belgian, Portuguese, Romanian and Turkish nationals, aged 14 to 39 years.
