Turkey: 38-Year-Old Dies at Hair Transplant Clinic

A 38-year-old British man, Martyn Latchman, died in Istanbul while preparing for a hair transplant at the Dr Cinik clinic.

Latchman, a former assistant headteacher, had undergone medical examinations that were approved by an anesthesiologist. According to the clinic, his health condition suddenly deteriorated, and he was transferred to a hospital where he died.

The Dr Cinik clinic denies claims that the death occurred during the procedure. Turkish police are conducting an investigation. The British Foreign Office is providing support to the family.

The clinic expressed its condolences for Latchman's death. His body has been transferred to the United Kingdom.
