Turkey: Investigation Launched After Tourist Pole Dances on Flagpole

Authorities in Turkey have launched an investigation after a video surfaced showing a tourist performing pole dancing on a flagpole bearing the Turkish flag in the Nevsehir region.

Emre Caliskan, a Nevsehir MP from the ruling AKP party, condemned the incident, emphasizing that insulting national values is unacceptable. He assured that the authorities are investigating the matter.
