Turkey: Over 300 Aftershocks Following 6.1 Magnitude Earthquake – 26 Injured

In Turkey, more than 300 aftershocks have been recorded following the strong 6.1 magnitude earthquake centered in the Balıkesir province.
The earthquake was felt in Istanbul, Bursa, Izmir, and the Greek islands of the North Aegean. Twenty-six people were injured, mostly due to panic. Local media reported that many jumped from balconies in panic.
At least three uninhabited buildings and a two-story shop near the epicenter collapsed. The Turkish Ministry of Interior announced that there were no deaths.
