Tsipras: Europe's Dilemma, Merz or Sánchez?

During the presentation of "Ithaca" in Kozani, Alexis Tsipras posed a dilemma for Europe regarding its stance on international developments, referring to the war in the Middle East. Specifically, he questioned whether Europe should follow the example of German Chancellor Friedrich Merz or Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez.
Tsipras criticized Merz's stance towards Donald Trump, arguing that it was "servile," while praising Sánchez for his opposition to the "illegal" US attack on Iran and his refusal to allow the use of Spanish bases for attacks.
The former Prime Minister emphasized that Sánchez defends his country's interests, having learned from Spain's involvement in the Iraq war, which led to a terrorist attack in Madrid. In contrast, he alluded to the Greek Prime Minister, who, he said, "doesn't even dare to whisper" the condemnation of the attack by Israel and the United States.
