Queen Camilla vacationed in Greece aboard the yacht “Zenobia,” owned by billionaire Wafic Said, a donor to the Conservative Party. Her choice sparked discussions about the royal family's public image amid the economic crisis in the United Kingdom.

The yacht, valued at £30 million, was anchored in Zea Marina. Said, a Syrian-Saudi businessman, is known for his ties to the Conservative Party and former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. He was not present on the yacht.

Former Liberal Democrat minister Norman Baker commented that members of the royal family should consider public opinion. Said stated that he has been friends with the Parker-Bowles family for 40 years and that it was natural to offer his yacht to Camilla for a family vacation.
