A school principal in South Wales, Anthony Felton, has been released after five months in prison for attacking a colleague, Pike, due to romantic jealousy. The incident occurred at St. Joseph's School on March 4.

Felton, 54, attacked 51-year-old Pike, the school's deputy head, with a key, believing that Pike was having a relationship with a teacher with whom Felton had recently broken up. Pike is the father of the teacher's child.

Felton was sentenced to 30 months in prison in April but was released under house arrest with an electronic bracelet. The Ministry of Justice confirmed his release, emphasizing that he is subject to strict conditions and risk assessment.

Following the attack, Pike sustained minor injuries. Felton sent an email to school staff apologizing for the disruption.
