Halit Yukay: Turkish businessman missing en route to Mykonos

The search continues for 43-year-old Turkish businessman Halit Yukay, who has been missing since last Saturday, when he departed from Yalova, Turkey, on his yacht bound for Mykonos.

His boat was found damaged by the Turkish Coast Guard near Prokonnesos. Professional divers, a helicopter, and coast guard vessels are involved in the search.

A cargo ship captain was arrested in connection with the case but was released on bail after his apology. In his statement, he said he felt a vibration and saw pieces of wood around him.

Halit Yukay is the founder of Mazu Yachts, specializing in the construction of luxury yachts. He is married to a Greek woman and they have one child.
