Harry and Charles: First Meeting in 1.5 Years

Prince Harry stated that his father, King Charles, is doing 'extremely well' after their first meeting at Clarence House in London in 1.5 years.

The meeting, which lasted less than an hour, is considered a positive step in their strained relationship, which began in 2020 when Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from their royal duties and intensified with their revelations in interviews and Harry's book, 'Spare'.

The Duke of Sussex made the statement to reporters after the meeting while attending an event for the Invictus Games. The meeting followed reports of reconciliation efforts, after a period in which Harry's legal battle regarding his security in the United Kingdom had strained relations.

Despite ongoing family challenges, the meeting is seen as a potential start to restoring relations between Harry and King Charles.
