Thousands Stranded at Bergamo Airport Due to Technical Issues

Thousands of passengers were stranded at Bergamo-Orio al Serio Airport on Saturday after technical issues with the landing guidance system and poor visibility led to the cancellation of dozens of flights.
SACBO, the company that manages the airport, announced that the technical problem was resolved around midnight but warned of possible flight delays and cancellations.
The incident led to the cancellation of 26 departure flights, while 6 were diverted to other airports and 7 were rescheduled. Images showed travelers sleeping on the airport floor.
Real-time information on the airport's website showed a long list of flights, mainly Ryanair, with departure delays.
