Comcast in $2 Billion Mega Deal to Acquire ITV

Comcast Corp., owner of Sky, is in talks to acquire ITV Plc's media and entertainment division for $2 billion. The deal would reshape the UK television landscape.
The American company, based in Philadelphia, is considering purchasing ITV's free-to-air commercial channels in the UK and the ITVX platform. ITV would retain its production studio, known for hits such as Britain’s Got Talent and Love Island.
Morgan Stanley and Robey Warshaw, recently acquired by Evercore Inc., are advising on the deal. ITV's stock has fallen 8% this year and approximately 75% since 2015.
