This decision follows the removal of tax exemptions for small packages valued under $800 by Donald Trump, resulting in a 15% tariff. Services continue to ship letters and parcels with private gifts valued under 100 euros, with strict controls.

Postal services await clarification regarding tariff payments and data transmission to the US customs service. La Poste reports that the regulations were confirmed on August 15, leaving little time for preparation.
