Colombia: Twelve Miners Missing After Mine Explosion

Twelve miners are missing after an explosion in a mine in Sutatausa, Colombia. The accident is attributed to a gas concentration. Authorities report that the mine was operating with a legal permit.

According to Governor Jorge Emilio Rey, the explosion resulted in 12 miners being trapped, while 2 people were evacuated urgently. Another 3 miners managed to escape after the explosion, with one being seriously injured and transferred to a medical center.
