Dmitriev: Without Russian Oil, the Market Cannot Remain Stable

Russian Presidential Special Envoy Kirill Dmitriev stated that the global energy market "cannot remain stable" without Russian oil.

This statement comes after the US decision to allow, for approximately one month, the sale of Russian crude oil and its by-products transported by tankers.

"The US essentially recognizes the obvious: without Russian oil, the global energy market cannot remain stable," Dmitriev said via Telegram, amid rising oil prices following developments in the Middle East.

The US Department of Energy issued a "general license" allowing the sale, until April 11, of Russian oil loaded onto tankers before March 12.

US Treasury Secretary Scott Besent described the measure as "targeted, short-term" and limited to oil already in transit.
