Oil prices fell by up to 3% in international markets following statements by Donald Trump regarding Iran. The American president stated that the 'killings' in Iran are 'over' and remained vague about the possibility of a US military operation.
Around 04:00 (Greek time), the WTI North American crude oil barrel fell by 3% to $60.16, while the Brent North Sea crude oil barrel fell by 2.87% to $64.61.
Prices had risen in recent days due to escalating tensions in Iran and threats from Washington to Tehran.
