Oil Prices Fall Below $100 After Trump's Announcements

Oil prices fell below $100 a barrel following announcements by US President Donald Trump regarding Iran. Asian stock markets also experienced significant gains.

Specifically, oil prices decreased by 15% after Donald Trump's statements, Iran's announcement of potential negotiations, and Pakistan's Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif's announcement of a ceasefire in the Middle East.

Around 03:15 Cyprus time, the price of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) decreased by 15.40%, reaching $99.55. The price of a barrel of Brent North Sea fell by 15.03% to $92.85.

The Nikkei index on the Tokyo Stock Exchange rose by 4%, while the Kospi in Seoul increased by 5.94%.
