US-Ukraine Fund Launches Investor Portal

The U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) has launched an online portal for submitting project proposals to the new U.S.-Ukraine reconstruction fund.

The fund, established in record time, has already attracted investor interest and is expected to announce its first investments in the coming months.

The DFC will consider proposals in areas such as critical minerals, energy production, transportation, information technology, and communications.

The fund has already received $23 million in revenue from hydrocarbon auctions, adding to its initial capital of $150 million.

A major advantage, according to an official, is that it will fly the flag of both the U.S. and Ukraine, promoting private sector participation in Ukraine's reconstruction.
