Trump Calls Jerome Powell 'Very Stupid' for Holding Interest Rates Steady

Former U.S. President Donald Trump today defended his trade policy, arguing that tariff increases are making the United States 'GREAT and RICH again'.

In a post, Trump stated that the U.S. has managed to reciprocate the 'avalanche of tariffs' against them. He also criticized the Governor of the Federal Reserve, Jerome Powell, for keeping interest rates steady.

He called Powell 'a complete failure' and stated that he is 'too stupid and too political to do the job'.
