Egyptian FM Announces Agreement on Saint Catherine's Monastery

Egyptian Foreign Minister, Badre Abdelaty, announced an agreement regarding Saint Catherine's Monastery, dismissing rumors about its future. "No one can touch the Monastery," he emphasized.

The statements were made in Cairo during Mr. Abdelaty's meeting with Greek Foreign Minister, Giorgos Gerapetritis. Mr. Gerapetritis recalled the joint declaration between Greece and Egypt and stated that cooperation is at its highest level.

Referring to the crisis in Gaza, Mr. Gerapetritis stressed the need for a ceasefire and the release of hostages.
