Azerbaijan and Armenia Nominate Trump for Nobel Peace Prize

The presidents of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, have nominated former United States President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.
In an interview with Al Arabiya television, Ilham Aliyev stated that Donald Trump's leadership contributed to promoting peace in Africa, Asia, and the South Caucasus.
The nomination came weeks after a meeting in Washington, D.C., involving the leaders of the USA, Azerbaijan, and Armenia. During that meeting, a declaration was adopted to establish peace and interstate relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
