CENTCOM: Over 13,000 Targets Struck in Iran

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that its forces have attacked more than 13,000 targets in Iran. The announcement came hours before President Trump's ultimatum to Iran expired.
In a social media post, CENTCOM stated that over 155 Iranian ships have been damaged or destroyed. The operation, dubbed "Epic Fury," involves U.S. nuclear-powered aircraft carriers, submarines, and aircraft, including F-35 stealth fighters and B-52 bombers.
Trump had threatened Iran with "hell" if it did not open the Strait of Hormuz by Tuesday. He reiterated the threat to return Iran to the Stone Age, warning of infrastructure destruction.
Iranian officials responded to the threats, stating that U.S. actions would not affect their operations. An advisor to the speaker of the Iranian Parliament stated that Trump has "about 20 hours" to surrender to Iran.
Mahdi Mohammadi, a national security analyst, wrote that "Iran has clearly and openly won the war and will only accept an end that consolidates its gains and creates a new security regime in the region."
