Dourou: Albanian Provocation with 'Greater Albania' Map

Rena Dourou, SYRIZA's Shadow Foreign Minister, denounced a provocation by the Albanian Ministry of Defense, citing a publication in an official magazine referring to the 'Greater Albania' theory. According to Dourou, the publication includes a map depicting extensive Greek territories as 'historical Albanian regions'.

Dourou criticized the Mitsotakis government's handling of foreign policy, arguing that the country has become a 'punching bag' and is afraid to react. She also stated that the government is not utilizing Greece's position as a Non-Permanent Member of the UN Security Council and is not pressing for progress on Albania's EU accession issues.

The SYRIZA MP stressed the need for a cohesive national strategy and accused the government of dismantling the collaborations established by the SYRIZA government.
