Iran Peace Plan: Ceasefire and Negotiations

Iran has accepted a proposal for a two-week ceasefire and parallel negotiations with the US in Islamabad, following intense diplomatic pressure and intervention from China. Tehran is basing its position on a 10-point plan.
Key points of the plan:
- Lifting of sanctions
- Withdrawal of US forces from the region
- Control of the Strait of Hormuz
- Payment of reparations
The decision for the ceasefire was made in light of concerns about economic repercussions and was approved by Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei. Negotiations are expected to begin on Friday, April 11.
Iran emphasizes that participation in the talks does not automatically mean an end to the war and expresses distrust towards the American side.
Terms of the 10-point plan include: a commitment to non-aggression, acceptance of Iran's uranium enrichment, termination of UN resolutions, and a cessation of war on all fronts, including Lebanon.
Details are lacking regarding the ceasefire's impact on Lebanon and Hezbollah.
