Switzerland will begin exploratory talks with the EU on a non-binding partnership regarding participation in arms procurement projects. This move aims to strengthen security ties with the EU and is compatible with the country's neutrality.

Such a partnership will allow Switzerland to negotiate better conditions for its industry's participation in EU arms procurement plans. Companies from countries with similar agreements can apply for funding from the EU's €150 billion arms fund.

Additionally, the Swiss government approved a draft cooperation agreement with Ukraine for the country's reconstruction, providing a legal basis for more active private sector involvement.
