US-Iran Tensions: Abraham Lincoln Carrier in Arabian Sea

The United States is bolstering its military presence in the Middle East, increasing pressure on Iran regarding its nuclear program. The American aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln was located in the Arabian Sea, approximately 150 miles off the coast of Oman, according to satellite images.

The BBC managed to locate the aircraft carrier, which was not visible in previous images. Its presence comes amid heightened tensions with Iran, ahead of meetings between delegations from Washington and Tehran in Geneva.

A second aircraft carrier, the USS Gerald R. Ford, is expected to be deployed to the region to reinforce the American military presence.
