Trump Expands International Business Ventures Amidst Term

Donald Trump appears to be using his second term to expand his business empire abroad, creating new corporate entities and signing agreements with foreign countries.
On January 30, two companies were established in Delaware with names related to Abu Dhabi. Within 10 months, he signed eight new projects, increasing revenue from international licensing from $6 million in 2023 to $50 million in 2024.
Agreements are reportedly in place in Abu Dhabi, Serbia, and Hungary, while indications of new activities are found in Vietnam, India, and the Philippines. Trump is traveling to the Middle East, visiting countries such as Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
Walter Shaub, former head of the Office of Government Ethics, stated that Trump's current policy "undermines any notion of ethical governance." Richard Painter also expressed similar concerns.
Most recently, a Qatari state-owned company signed an agreement to develop a golf resort near Doha. Two new companies referencing Doha were registered in Delaware in early July.
