Erdogan: 'Turkey is a country that no one can ignore'

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that Turkey is a country that no one can ignore, during the inauguration of a tank factory.

Erdogan emphasized that Turkey's defense industry is 'making history' and that the country has increased domestic production in the defense sector from 20% to 80%. He also mentioned that Turkey is developing UAVs and SİHAs and has become the 11th largest arms exporter in the world.

At the delivery ceremony of the new Altay tanks to the Turkish Armed Forces, Erdogan noted that Turkey is no longer a country that follows, but a country that is followed.

The Turkish president stated that the new BMC factory will have the capacity to produce 8 Altay tanks and 10 Altuğ armored vehicles each month, while emphasizing that the goal is independence from other countries, especially in critical materials.

Erdogan also pointed out that a new geopolitical system is being formed and that Turkey, with its investments in the defense industry, is now a country that no one can ignore.
