Turkey celebrated the 103rd anniversary of its victory in the Battle of Dumlupınar, a turning point in the Greco-Turkish War. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and other political leaders visited Anıtkabir, the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, in Ankara.

In his message, Erdoğan referred to 'insidious plans' aimed at destabilizing Turkey and the wider region. He stated that Turkey is taking measures to ensure the safety of its citizens against these threats.

In the mausoleum's guest book, Erdoğan wrote: 'Those who have insidious plans, as they did a century ago, should know that we are not idle'.
