Estonia Ready to Send Battalion to Ukraine Peacekeeping Mission

Estonia is prepared to participate in a peacekeeping operation in Ukraine by sending a battalion, stated Prime Minister Kaja Kallas during a press conference with her Finnish counterpart in Tallinn.
Kallas did not specify the number of soldiers the battalion would include.
NATO chief Mark Rutte stated that NATO allies and Ukraine are working together to ensure strong security guarantees for Ukraine to prevent future Russian aggression. Europe and the United States will participate in providing these guarantees.
French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer have supported the deployment of troops in a post-war settlement, while German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has also signaled potential German participation.
