Fidan: We cannot tolerate YPG presence in northern Syria

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated that Turkey can no longer tolerate the presence of the People's Protection Units (YPG) in northern Syria.
In a press conference in Ankara with his Syrian counterpart, Assad al-Saibani, Mr. Fidan emphasized that Turkey is witnessing developments it cannot tolerate and that terrorists are not leaving Syria.
Mr. Fidan stressed that the YPG poses a threat to Turkey's security and must stop gaining time. He also stated that Syria is a target of Israeli expansionism and called on the YPG to stop using Syrian Kurds as puppets of Israel.
