Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan insisted on a two-state solution for Cyprus, arguing it is the best structure for equality and avoiding problems. In an interview with A Haber television, Fidan stated that Turks live in the northern part and Greeks in the southern part, and the presence of the Turkish army since 1974 ensures peaceful coexistence.

Fidan called the international community's rejection of the two-state solution a 'historical delusion,' attributing it to propaganda from Greek Cypriots and Greeks.

Regarding Turkey-US relations and the F-35 fighter program, Fidan claimed that President Donald Trump had instructed that the CAATSA law should not burden relations between the two countries. He also mentioned a conversation with Marco Rubio on the matter.

Regarding the European defense funding program SAFE, Fidan acknowledged obstacles due to objections from Greece and Cyprus.

Regarding Gaza, Fidan stated that Turkey is ready to offer any assistance, including sending troops, provided the necessary conditions are met.
