French Aircraft Carrier Charles de Gaulle Deployed to North Atlantic

The French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle and its escort are being deployed to the North Atlantic and the Baltic Sea, as announced by the French Ministry of Defence.
The ship departed from Toulon on January 27 and participated in the "Orion 26" exercise. It is now continuing the "Lafayette 2" mission.
It is expected to arrive in Malmö, Sweden, on February 25, which is a first, according to the Swedish Ministry of Defence.
The French naval force will participate in the NATO mission "Baltic Sentry", aimed at deterring threats to underwater infrastructure. It will also participate in the exercises "Steadfast Dart", "Neptune Strike", and "Cold Response".
This deployment comes as NATO seeks to launch the "Arctic Sentry" mission to enhance security in the Arctic.
Russian submarines regularly operate in the area.
According to the Ministry of the Armed Forces, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Moroccan, British, Norwegian, Danish, and German warships will reinforce the French Task Force.
