A psychologist analyzed for Sky News the messages hidden behind the smiles, gestures, and leg spread of Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin during their meeting in Alaska.

According to Dr. Peter Collett, at the beginning of the meeting, there were "authentic and sincere smiles" from both leaders. After the meeting concluded, the absence of an agreement was evident on Trump's face.

Dr. Collett also analyzed the handshake between the two leaders, noting that Putin extended his hand first, showing "enthusiasm, joy, and commitment." Trump responded with a series of "hand pats," indicating his desire to be in control.

Regarding "manspreading," the psychologist noted that Putin had a wider leg spread, suggesting a stronger presence. In the press conference, Putin sat upright and confident, while Trump was hunched over, which may reflect the weight of his thoughts.

During the meeting, Trump placed his hand behind Putin's back, a move considered a sign of power.
