Turkey Integrates Electronic Warfare System on Bayraktar KIZILELMA Drone

Ankara announced the successful completion of the first flight test of the FEWS-U electronic warfare system, which was integrated into the Bayraktar KIZILELMA unmanned combat aerial vehicle.
According to a statement by ASELSAN, the FEWS-U electronic warfare system has become operationally ready and integrated into the platform developed by Baykar, successfully completing its first flight.
According to the same sources, FEWS-U has 360-degree coverage capabilities, high-precision threat direction finding, as well as rapid threat detection and recognition. It is a self-protection system designed to detect and recognize radar threats against the aircraft and activate countermeasures.
ASELSAN reports that the system has been developed to enhance the survivability and operational effectiveness of unmanned aerial platforms in the modern air operations environment.
The Bayraktar KIZILELMA is the unmanned combat aircraft being developed by Baykar as part of the Turkish defense industry programs.
