Gates Foundation: No Payments Made to Jeffrey Epstein

The Gates Foundation has denied reports, announcing that it never hired or paid money to Jeffrey Epstein, who had been convicted of sex crimes.

The announcement followed the release of documents by the U.S. Department of Justice, which contained communications between Epstein and foundation employees.

The Gates Foundation stated that the contacts were made with the prospect of Epstein mobilizing philanthropic resources for global health, but ultimately no cooperation took place.

Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in 2019 in a Manhattan jail.
