Jerusalem Reconsiders Annexation: What's Behind It?

Israel appears to be reconsidering its annexation moves in the West Bank following a warning from the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Lana Nusseibeh, Assistant Minister of Political Affairs for the UAE, expressed the country's concerns regarding the proposed moves.
The UAE, an ally of Israel since the Abraham Accords, shares a common goal of confronting Islamists. Abu Dhabi has proceeded with the construction of the 'Abrahamic Family House,' a complex that includes places of worship for three Abrahamic religions.
Nusseibeh, a Palestinian with studies in Israeli and Jewish Diaspora Studies, is considered important in the Israel-UAE rapprochement. Israel is concerned about its relations with Jordan and Egypt and considers maintaining relations with the UAE crucial.
Despite Donald Trump's potential support for annexation, Israel seems to be prioritizing the Abraham Accords and their expansion.
