US Strikes Vessels Trafficking Drugs in Pacific – 14 Dead

The United States conducted strikes against four vessels in the Eastern Pacific Ocean allegedly trafficking drugs. According to US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, 14 individuals were killed in the attacks that took place on October 27th.

Hegseth stated in a post on 'X' that the strikes were carried out under the direction of President Donald Trump and targeted vessels operated by Designated Terrorist Organizations (DTO). The vessels, according to the Secretary, were known to intelligence services and were using known drug trafficking routes.

Mexican authorities have taken over the search and rescue operation for the one survivor.

Hegseth stated that the US will treat drug traffickers the same way they treat Al Qaeda.
