US Strikes on Drug Vessels: At Least 14 Dead

US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth announced that the US carried out three strikes against four vessels in the Eastern Pacific Ocean, resulting in the deaths of 14 people.
According to Hegseth, the strikes were ordered by President Donald Trump and targeted vessels trafficking narcotics, who were labeled as 'narco-terrorists'. The attacks took place in international waters.
The Secretary of Defense stated that there was one survivor, and Mexican authorities have taken over the search and rescue operation.
Hegseth stated that the US will treat the 'narco-terrorists' in the same way they treat Al Qaeda, emphasizing that 'We will locate them, link them to a network, and then hunt them down and kill them'.
