US: Trump Appoints Tammy Bruce as Ambassador to the UN

Donald Trump has nominated Tammy Bruce, State Department spokesperson, as the US Deputy Representative to the United Nations (UN). Bruce, a former Fox News host, will need to be approved by the US Senate.

Trump praised Bruce as a "television personality and bestselling author." Bruce expressed her gratitude for Trump's trust and stated that she would continue to promote the "America First" agenda on the international stage.

Bruce had stated that the US left UNESCO because of "anti-Israel rhetoric within the organization."
