Iran Threatens Oil Infrastructure After Trump's Kharg Island Remarks

Iran has threatened to target oil infrastructure in the region following recent remarks by Donald Trump regarding Kharg Island. Iranian armed forces have stated that any attack on Iran's oil or energy infrastructure would lead to retaliation against energy infrastructure owned by companies cooperating with the United States.
This warning follows an announcement by Donald Trump on Truth Social, stating that U.S. forces had "obliterated all military targets" on Kharg Island, Iran's main oil export hub. Trump threatened to target oil facilities there if Iran continues to obstruct movement in the Strait of Hormuz.
When asked about the protection of tankers in the Strait of Hormuz by the U.S. Navy, Donald Trump replied "soon, very soon."
