Iran Accuses Germany of Supporting Israel in Conflict

Iran has accused German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul of supporting Israel in the conflict. Tehran claims that Wadephul is on the “wrong side of history” following Germany's statements of solidarity with Israel.

Iranian diplomacy representative Esmaeil Baghaei accused the German Foreign Minister of siding with Israel in the conflict. In a post on the X platform, he argued that Johann Wadephul is supporting the “aggressor,” despite the fact that Israel launched bombings against Iran, causing civilian casualties.

Wadephul, in his own post on X, stated that the citizens of Israel live under constant threat, emphasizing that the German government expresses its solidarity with them. He also mentioned discussing the need to prevent further escalation with Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar.

Tehran's statements came after the German Foreign Minister's visit to Israel on Monday.
