Iran: New Talks with Europe on Nuclear Program

Iran will hold new talks regarding its nuclear program with Germany, France, Britain, and the European Union next Tuesday, August 26. The talks will be held at the level of deputy foreign ministers.
French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot emphasized that "time is running out" to reach a solution and avoid the reimposition of sanctions against Tehran. He also confirmed the upcoming talks between Iran and European powers.
German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul stated that Europe remains committed to diplomacy, but time is running out for the talks. "Time is running out and Iran must commit meaningfully in order to avoid the activation of the snapback mechanism," he noted.
