Iran: UN Welcomes IAEA Inspection Agreement

The UN has welcomed the agreement between Iran and the IAEA to resume inspections, calling it a positive step towards restoring full cooperation. Secretary-General's spokesperson, Stéphane Dujarric, stressed that the agreement must be implemented immediately, in accordance with Iran's obligations.
Dujarric emphasized that Iran's full cooperation with the IAEA is essential to ensuring that the country's nuclear program remains exclusively peaceful.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi had stated that Iran is ready to accept inspections and restrictions on uranium enrichment in exchange for the lifting of international sanctions.
