Iran: Potential Targets of US Strikes – Maps
Share on:

Iran is on red alert as the US appears ready for military strikes if diplomatic efforts fail. The US military has already identified specific targets.

The Foundation for Defense of Democracies has released maps of potential targets. According to the maps, most military targets are located in the central and northern parts of the country, while nuclear targets are mainly in the central region. Regime facilities are primarily in the south.

Seven facilities, nuclear, military, and regime-related, are located outside Tehran, while eight facilities are near the Persian Gulf.

In the event of a military conflict, the US could target high-value strategic infrastructure, avoiding massive strikes on urban centers. Potential targets include:

  • Nuclear facilities: Such as the Natanz Nuclear Facility, Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant, and Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant.
  • Military bases and infrastructure of the Revolutionary Guards: Targets could include ballistic missile bases, UAV control centers, and weapons depots.

The US has previously targeted the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), especially missile and drone units.
