Iran: Missiles Launched Towards UK Bases in Cyprus – Intercepted by Israel

British Defence Secretary John Healey revealed on Sunday that two Iranian missiles were launched towards British bases in Cyprus. According to current information, the missiles were intercepted by the Israelis.
John Healey stated that it is not yet clear whether the missiles were deliberately targeting British facilities on the island. He also revealed that approximately 300 British military personnel were stationed near targeted locations in Bahrain.
Healey called on Iran to stop missile attacks and abandon its weapons programs, following preemptive attacks by the US and Israel on Iranian military infrastructure and leadership.
He condemned the Iranian regime, citing its history of terrorist plots against the United Kingdom, internal repression, and the supply of drones to Russia.
Healey declined to comment on the legality of the US-Israeli attacks, stating that the US should explain, but affirmed that all UK defence operations in the region comply with international law.
