Iranian FM: We will not abandon the uranium enrichment program

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told Fox News that his country does not intend to abandon its uranium enrichment program, acknowledging that the nuclear facilities affected by recent US and Israeli attacks have suffered significant damage.

The program "has stopped because, yes, the damage is serious and significant, But obviously we cannot abandon enrichment, it is an achievement of our scientists. And now, beyond everything else, it is a matter of national pride," the head of Iranian diplomacy said in an interview with journalist Bret Baier, a small excerpt of which was released a few hours before it was broadcast.
