Israel Hayom: Northern Cyprus a Threat to Israel – "Poseidon's Wrath" Plan

In an article in Israel Hayom, Shay Gal, a geopolitical strategy expert, argues that the Turkish-occupied territory in Northern Cyprus poses a threat to Cyprus, Greece, and Israel.
Gal emphasizes the need for an allied response with Greece and Cyprus, proposing a deterrence plan codenamed "Poseidon's Wrath."
The occupied part of Cyprus is a "legal vacuum" used by Turkey for military and espionage purposes, as well as for cooperation with terrorist organizations such as Hamas and Iran's Quds Force.
Turkey has transformed Lefkoniko Airport into a base for armed drones capable of targeting Israeli gas platforms, ships, and ports. The deployment of Bayraktar TB2 and Akinci UAVs, as well as missiles such as ATMACA and Typhoon, gives the territory the ability to strategically strike Israel.
Occupied Northern Cyprus is used for terrorist financing, money laundering, and intelligence operations. Documents seized during Israeli operations reveal Hamas' plans to create an operational arm in Turkey and Northern Cyprus. An Iranian terrorist network (Quds Force) was identified in the area with plans to attack Israeli targets in Europe.
Gal proposes the "Poseidon's Wrath" plan, which would include neutralizing air defense systems, destroying military bases, stopping Turkish reinforcements, and removing Turkish troops.
