Israel to Purchase Two KC-46 Aerial Refueling Tankers from Boeing

Israel is set to purchase two KC-46 aerial refueling tankers from Boeing, according to an announcement by the Israeli Ministry of Defense on Wednesday.
The deal, worth $500 million, will be financed by the U.S. military aid program. The contract with the U.S. government is expected to be signed after approval from the relevant Israeli committee.
The Israeli military already possesses four KC-46 aircraft. The Director General of the Ministry of Defense, Amir Baram, stated that the new aircraft will enhance the military's long-range strategic capabilities.
Washington provides Israel with billions of dollars annually to purchase American weapons and equipment.
