Kallas: 30 Days for Diplomatic Solution on Iran's Nuclear Program

Western countries have 30 days to find a diplomatic solution to the crisis with Iran's nuclear program, stated European diplomacy chief Kaja Kallas.

"We are entering a new 30-day phase that we must use to find diplomatic solutions," Kallas said before an EU summit in Copenhagen.

The statement follows the European decision to activate the mechanism for the re-imposition of international sanctions against Iran within a month. The request will be considered by the UN Security Council.
