President Condemns Attacks on UAE – "Regional Security Linked to EU"

The President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, strongly condemned the missile and drone attacks against the United Arab Emirates.

In a statement, the President expressed the full solidarity of the Republic of Cyprus with the President of the UAE, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the people of the country.

He emphasized that Cyprus stands firmly with the United Arab Emirates and its partners in the region, aiming for de-escalation, full respect for international law, and the promotion of peace and stability.

He also stressed that the security of the region is inextricably linked to the security of Europe, highlighting the geopolitical importance of developments in the Middle East.
